A university campus in Cyberjaya secured four faculty entrances with BRX-TS900 turnstiles reading the existing student card, giving the registrar a per-student attendance signal across about 12,000 cardholders.

Challenge
Faculty buildings were open to the street, so non-students could enter laboratories and lecture halls freely, and the university had no reliable way to evidence attendance or to know how many people were inside a building during an evacuation drill.
Solution
Twelve BRX-TS900 tripod turnstiles were installed across four entrances, each reading the university's existing contactless student and staff cards. Passage events are pushed to the campus access platform, which provides per-building occupancy counts and an attendance feed the registrar can export; a break-glass release and fire-alarm interface open all lanes on evacuation.
Result
Casual unauthorised entry into laboratory blocks stopped, the university can now produce per-building occupancy during drills, and about 12,000 cardholders pass through the gate lines each teaching day with no queuing at class changeover.
