A third-party logistics warehouse near Port Klang combined long-range RFID identification with 77 GHz radar presence detection, so prime movers now enter and leave the yard unattended with a dependable vehicle-count record.

Challenge
Yard gates were staffed around the clock, yet the warehouse still could not reconcile vehicle movements against its dispatch system, and rain or glare frequently defeated the old infrared presence sensors, leaving the boom arm down on a vehicle or up on an empty lane.
Solution
Each of the four lanes received a BRX-RFID-UHF300 reader reading windscreen tags at up to 6 metres, a BRX-RS77 77 GHz millimetre-wave radar for presence and direction detection that is unaffected by rain, dust or headlight glare, and a matched boom barrier driven by the controller. Every passage is written to the yard log with the tag ID and a timestamp.
Result
Unattended 24-hour operation replaced three guard posts, dispatch reconciliation now matches the yard log to within one vehicle per week instead of several per day, and the radar detects a stationary prime mover reliably where the previous infrared sensors failed in wet weather.
